This one-and-a-half-day workshop, Addressing Misinformation and Combating Disinformation on Digital and Social Media, provides participants with strategies and hands-on, immersive practice for identifying and addressing misinformation and disinformation on social media. Participants gain an understanding of media monitoring and the role it plays in emergency public information, learn key sources for monitoring during an incident, identify specific strategies for responding to information on digital and social media platforms, identify and practice tactics for monitoring information on digital and social media platforms. Best practices, strategy, and practice are emphasized during this session. At the end of the workshop, course participants engage in a hands-on exercise and are empowered with tools, techniques, and strategy for effectively combating social media mis/disinformation campaigns.

Initial Planning Meeting

Once you pre-order with us, we will contact you to begin the planning process to include an Initial Planning Meeting (IPM). The IPM will help us determine the specific scope of your training. We will discuss your goals, then we will tailor our approach to your intended training outcomes. Training objectives, design requirements and conditions, intended audience, and special considerations will be identified.


Only 20% payment required to begin the process. The remaining balance will be due 15 days prior to your training. Any add-ons you choose during your IPM will also be due prior to training.
